Gift Card Terms

Maid n' Dallas ("we," "us," or "our") gift cards may be applied toward any eligible cleaning service, add-on, applicable tax, or travel service charge available through our booking flow. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase another gift card or to pay charges that are not service charges. If a booking total exceeds the gift card balance, the difference is charged to your payment method.

• Gift cards are delivered electronically by email to the purchaser, the recipient, or both, as specified at checkout.
• Gift cards are redeemed by entering the gift card code at checkout in the booking flow, or by contacting Wendy for assisted redemption.
• Partial redemption is allowed. Any remaining balance stays on the gift card for future use, and you can ask us to confirm your balance at any time.
• Gift cards are not reloadable and cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
• Gift cards are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and may not be resold.

Maid n' Dallas gift cards do not carry an expiration date. Under the federal Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act (CARD Act) and its implementing rules, gift card funds generally may not expire sooner than five years from the date of purchase or the date funds were last loaded. We go further and do not set any expiration date on purchased gift card funds.

We do not charge dormancy fees, inactivity fees, or service fees on gift cards. Under the CARD Act, such fees are restricted: they may not be charged unless there has been no activity for at least 12 consecutive months, and then no more than one fee may be charged per month, with clear disclosure. We do not impose any such fees.

We provide these gift card terms, including our no-expiration and no-fee policy, at the time of sale. Under the Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 604 (Sale or Issuance of Stored Value Card), a stored value card that does not expire and carries no fees (other than the limited fees that statute allows) falls outside Chapter 604's disclosure mandate, and the related Texas unclaimed-property rule for stored value cards does not apply to such a card. Because our gift cards never expire and carry no fees, these exemptions apply to them.

Treat a gift card code like cash. Risk of loss and title to the gift card pass to the purchaser on electronic delivery. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift card codes, or for unauthorized use after delivery, except as required by law. Anyone in possession of a valid code may redeem it.

Gift card purchases are generally non-refundable once delivered electronically, except where required by applicable law or when we cancel the card before use. If a gift card code is lost, mistyped, or sent to the wrong email address, contact us and we will verify purchase records and assist with recovery where we reasonably can.

Promotional gift cards, bonus credits, and offer-linked cards are issued at no charge as part of a promotion rather than purchased for value. Consistent with the CARD Act's promotional-program rules, these may carry an expiration date and additional restrictions, such as service-type limitations, minimum booking requirements, or a posted promotional period, which we disclose with the offer. The no-expiration and no-fee policy above applies to purchased gift card funds, not to promotional or bonus value. The terms posted with a specific promotion control in any conflict with this page.

Buying a gift card is not itself a taxable sale. Applicable Texas state and local sales and use taxes are calculated and applied when the gift card is redeemed for taxable services.

We reserve the right to cancel, freeze, or deactivate a gift card if we reasonably believe it was obtained or is being used fraudulently, was purchased with a payment method later disputed or reversed, or is being used in violation of these terms or in connection with illegal activity.
